For many years, Canon has been consistently committed to environmentally friendly solutions. With the Cartridge Recycling Program, the company offers a simple way to dispose of empty printer cartridges in an eco-friendly manner. As an official Canon distributor, we want to inform our resellers and partners about this important sustainability initiative.
What’s behind it?
The Canon Recycling Program ensures that used toner and ink cartridges do not end up in general waste but are instead integrated into a closed recycling loop. Returned cartridges are collected, sorted, and fully reused – with no landfill involved.
- Reusing raw materials: Plastics and metals are processed and reintroduced into the production of new products.
- Reducing CO₂ emissions: Recycling conserves valuable resources and helps protect the environment.
- Simple returns: Canon provides clear return options for both partners and end customers.
How the return works:
Empty original Canon cartridges can be returned free of charge. Return labels can be requested via the Canon website, making it easy to ship the cartridges back.
Our shared contribution
As Canon’s distributor in Austria, we actively support this program and encourage our resellers to highlight the Cartridge Recycling initiative to their customers. Together, we make a valuable contribution to greater sustainability in the printing industry.
