Canon Cartridge Recycling Programme
For many years, Canon has offered programmes for the collection and recycling of printer cartridges. With the Canon Cartridge Recycling Programme, customers can return empty original Canon cartridges for recycling.
What Is the Programme About?
The Canon Recycling Programme helps ensure that used toner and ink cartridges are not disposed of with general waste but are instead processed through a recycling programme. According to Canon, returned cartridges are collected, sorted and prepared for material recovery and reuse.
- Reusing Materials: Plastics and metals from returned cartridges can be recovered through the recycling process and prepared for further applications.
- Keeping Resources in Circulation: Recovering materials can help reduce the need for virgin raw materials.
- Easy Returns: Canon provides clear return options for partners and end users.
How the return works:
Empty original Canon cartridges can be returned free of charge. Return labels can be requested via the Canon website, making it easy to ship the cartridges back.
Our shared contribution
As an official Canon distributor in Austria, we actively support this programme and encourage our dealers to inform customers about the available return and recycling options for original Canon cartridges. Together, we can help ensure that used printer cartridges are returned to the recycling process and that valuable materials remain in circulation.
Further information and details on how to return cartridges can be found on the Canon Recycling information page.
We are happy to help!
